First up, pumpkin spice muffins.
It was a super easy recipe only requiring spice cake mix, 16 oz. of pumpkin, and 1 cup of water!
They bake in the over for 20-25 minutes at 350 and then...
...there you go! You have a delicious fall treat!
I had to focus on the best part of the treat...the Halloween cupcake liners. I'm sure the liners just made the treat taste that much better :)
This week I also bought ingredients to make my mom's sugar cookie recipe. I tried it out last year and it appeared to be a big success (as in, people liked the way they tasted) so I decided to try for a round 2, Fall/Halloween style!
Getting the frosting all ready...I had to mix colors to make the orange and green, but it turned out okay!
I made pumpkins...
...ghosts...yes please excuse the scary eyes! I thought it would add to the ghost, but alas, it did not...it just made it scarier than before!
...and even some yellow fall leaves! They looked festive and tasted "delightful."
At breakfast yesterday, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture of The Chef's delightful "hot chocolate." The presentation always looks great and it tastes even better!!
Just delicious, and the orange and green looked just like fall so I had to snap a shot ;)
This weekend brought some other funny pictures along the way, so even though they are not fall related, I figured they deserved to be blogged about as well! Have a fantastic end to your weekend and start to your week!!
As if we aren't alike enough already...
Couldn't pass this up...my boy sleeping with only a little peek of his KSU hat popping out. Love it!
Until then,
Brittany
